It's rare that we get to let our brains take the natural break that it needs. This place has been the perfect place to do just that. I'm going to miss these beautiful mornings and these quiet streets.

Recently I've been thinking I need to do some more painting. As you can see my painting style tends to lean towards the design... This is one of my favorites from a few years ago.

Every year for more than a decade we've produced a very informative hurricane handbook for our client Kissimmee Utility Authority. I've included a few snippets from this year's handbook featuring "Stormy". download the full handbook at www.kua.com/hurricane-safety/ and be prepared for hurricane Irma

Wrapped up this logo and business card design for a plumber a few weeks ago. If you are thinking "he must be a cool plumber in the world to have these cards" – you'd be right. Look how the copper foil pops off of the gray and blue. These cards are thick as a quarter and triplexed with black paper on the back.

The things that I find in my sketchbook. It's just Pete the egg-man walking his dog.

For the last 20 year throwback this week here are a couple of posters from 1997. I love the zombie one that's printed on a translucent vellum.

This is a another project throwback project. This project was a partnership between and the . We actually started the logo development back in 1997 in a competition between several other agencies. The final logo they chose was ours. This is a project I worked on with my partners at my previous company "Backbone Design". Eventually Backbone Design did lots of collateral and environmental graphics for the entire restaurant. Sadly the last NBA City closed a couple of years ago. I still love how logoman worked perfectly for the counter of the "B".

A flashback to flyers I did 20 years ago with partners from another company at the time, Backbone Design. It's amazing how much I still love the visual delight of these pieces. Most of four color, but some include metallics.
