🏁Our Jr. Adventurers had a super fun morning filled with racing, smiles, and lots of excitement! 🏁
The children enjoyed cheering on their friends, showing off their speed, practicing good sportsmanship, and having a blast together. It was a great opportunity for them to build confidence, teamwork, and coordination while making some fun memories with their classmates.

🌱There’s nothing better than using your imagination and getting a little dirt on your hands! 🪴
Our little learners had a wonderful time exploring, creating, and letting their imaginations run wild while playing in the dirt. These hands-on experiences encourage creativity, curiosity, problem-solving, and a love for the world around them.
Sometimes the best learning happens when we’re outside, getting messy, and having fun!

From first hellos to lifelong friendships, our Pre-K family has grown together in so many wonderful ways. 💙 Through laughter, learning, adventures, and countless memories, these little friends have built bonds that will always hold a special place in their hearts. As they get ready to spread their wings and head off to kindergarten, we couldn't be prouder of all they've accomplished. 🍟Real-life items make dramatic play even more meaningful!🍔
Our 3's are learning through imaginative play as they take customer orders, practice communication, count money, solve problems, and work together. Using real-world items helps bring their play to life, making learning fun, engaging, and memorable.
And yes... just like the real thing, the ice cream machine is "out of order!" 😆🍦

🌱 Exciting News from Brookland Nature Learning! 🌱
On June 16, our 3- and 4-year-old students started a special project by taking cuttings from one of the beautiful Vitex trees here at Brookland.
Today, we're excited to share that our very first Vitex cutting has successfully sprouted roots and is already showing new bud growth! 🎉
They have enjoyed learning about plant propagation and seeing firsthand how a simple cutting can grow into a brand-new tree. Once these young Vitex trees are big and strong enough, we'll plant them in our Nature Learning Area near the picnic tables, where they will provide beauty, shade, and learning opportunities for years to come.
Watching our students grow alongside the plants they helped start is one of the many reasons we love nature-based learning! 💜🌳

Young Leaders Game Day! 🎲🧩
Our Young Leaders had an exciting game day as they explored new games that Ms. Kellie brought in to share with the class! From Connect Four to Trouble, the children practiced concentration, critical thinking, strategy, and good sportsmanship while having lots of fun. Friendly competition encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, patience, and cheering each other on. Learning is always an adventure when we play together!

👨‍🍳KIDS IN THE KITCHEN👩‍🍳
Our Jr. Adventurers A had a deliciously fun day! 🍕 The children put their creativity to work by creating pizza art and then enjoyed making their very own pizza snack. This hands-on activity helped build fine motor skills, encourage creativity, and introduce basic cooking concepts—all while having lots of fun!
We love giving our little chefs opportunities to learn, create, and enjoy the fruits of their labor. ❤️🍕

🐷🏠 Once upon a time… 🐺
Mrs. Karrie's class had so much fun bringing “The Three Little Pigs” to life! From acting out the characters to using their creativity and imagination, our little performers enjoyed every moment of this classic story. Great job, Jr. Adventurers! 👏🎭
