๐๐ Brookland Goes PINK in October ๐๐
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this is something that touches our hearts deeply. Chances are, each of us knows and loves someone whose life has been affected by breast cancer. Some are survivors, some are still fighting, and some hold a very special place in our hearts and memories.
Here at Brookland, we have always believed that we are more than a learning centerโwe are a family and a community that cares for one another. ๐
Thatโs why every Friday in October, we are asking our children and staff to wear PINK. ๐
For our children, itโs more than just wearing a color. Itโs an opportunity to teach them something we hope they carry with them as they grow: when someone is going through something difficult, we show up for them. We love them, encourage them, and remind them they are not alone.
So throughout October, letโs fill Brookland with PINK in honor of the fighters, in celebration of the survivors, in memory of those weโve lost, and in support of every family whose life has been touched by breast cancer.
From our littlest Brookland babies to our biggest kids, our teachers, staff, and familiesโwe stand together. ๐
๐ One Brookland. One family. One community. Lots of love.
Together, we wear PINK. ๐
