Station Visit: Thank you Bell Arthur for the invitation to be your guest speaker this evening. The dinner and discussion about our Fire and Emergency Management Program is appreciated.
I had opportunity to meet up with some amazing friends, that some say are county legends. However, Iβm not sure about the βwisdomβ they wanted to share with me, but it was good laughs anyway.
Bell Arthur is a strong supporter hosting much of our Firefighter I&II Western Series. We look forward to working with them on some other classes in the near future. Until then, best wishes Station 52! Bell Arthur Fire Department

Special thank you today to Farmville Fire Department for their donation of 5 inch hose to our program. This is a significant step as we prepare to outfit a fire engine for our service area to train with.
Our departments are committed and joining together to make PCC Fire and Emergency Management the training hub of the east.
More special thanks to come soon!

Our Eastern Division Firefighter I&II students were hard at work on forcible entry and tool practicals (Ops 4) this evening when we stopped by to check in. Practicals are always the fun evenings for many reasons. Most importantly, the team building between departments is the greatest benefit.
Our Western Division Series will be doing the same practicals next week.
Thank you to Eastern Pines Fire/Rescue and Farmville Fire Department for hosting our students.

Station Visit: Farmville Fire Department was busy last night as we attended their monthly station meeting. There is something special about holding meetings on benches in the truck bayβit is where the most genuine conversations take place and where you gain a clear understanding of where you are and the direction you need to go.
We met in the apparatus bays because they graciously provided their meeting room for our Western Series Firefighter I & II students. Both our Eastern and Western Series classes are currently covering Tools, Forcible Entry, and Loss Control, with strong student participation in each program.
During our visit, Johnny D Williams Sr., instructor for this portion of the series, was doing an outstanding job leading the class and engaging the students. We are grateful for the dedication of our instructors and the continued support of the departments throughout our service area.
Thank you to the Farmville Fire Department for your hospitality, partnership, and commitment to firefighter training.
Best wishes to Station 53!
