Furman’s Teacher Education Program is committed to collaborative, interdependent efforts throughout the academic community. To achieve that objective, the Teacher Education Program is anchored in the university's commitment to the liberal arts, which encompass the social and natural sciences, fine arts, mathematics, and the humanities.
