Furman University Jazz Studies

The Furman University Jazz Studies program, led by Matt Olson, consists of the Furman Jazz Ensemble

The Furman Jazz Studies program offers ensembles (Furman Jazz Ensemble, several small jazz combos), classes (jazz improvisation, jazz history, independent study), and private instruction (jazz improvisation, jazz guitar, jazz piano, jazz bass, and jazz drums) to all Furman students, regardless of major. We present several concerts each year, and have regular guest artists appear on campus.
