Jarvis Preschool

Jarvis Preschool Jarvis Preschool is a developmentally appropriate Christian based preschool program. All of our lead teachers have a minimum of a four-year Education Degree.

If you have questions, please call our Director, Christie Bagley, at 252-752-3101 or [email protected]. We are a preschool which utilizes developmentally appropriate Christian based curriculum. Continuing education and CPR certification is provided for our entire staff. Christian emphasis permeates the entire program through Chapel, Bible Stories, our Music Program and other activities.

We bridge the gap between home and school providing a warm, loving environment in which social-emotional, physical and intellectual growth are enhanced. Jarvis Preschool has a small student to teacher ratio. We require that children be 2, 3, or 4 years by August 31st of the same year enrolled. We also offer a Mother's Day(s) Out program for children under 2 years.

Moving Day is Complete! 🎉

Jarvis Preschool's moving day has officially arrived, and we are excited to share that we have successfully relocated to Oakmont Baptist Church for the upcoming school year!

This move would not have been possible without the incredible hard work and dedication of our amazing staff and several members of the Jarvis Preschool Committee. Your countless hours of planning, packing, organizing, and encouraging made this day a tremendous success.

A very special thank you goes to Perry, Jeff Bagley, and the entire crew at Carolina Quality Air. They showed up ready to work and tackled every classroom with care, loading and unloading everything steadily and methodically. We truly could not have completed this move in a single day without their generosity, strength, and support. We are so grateful!

While we are excited to begin this new chapter at our new location, our hearts are filled with gratitude for Jarvis Memorial UMC. For the past 56 years, Jarvis has been so much more than a building—it has been a loving home where generations of children have learned, grown, and been nurtured. We will always be thankful for the unwavering love, support, and partnership that made our ministry possible for so many years.

Here's to new beginnings, while always cherishing the place that brought us here. We can't wait to welcome our preschool families to our new home at Oakmont Baptist Church this fall! 💙
