The Hartness Organ Series opens its new season on Thursday, September 10 at 7:30 p.m. in Daniel Memorial Chapel at Furman University with a recital featuring Sarah Wannamaker entitled "Soaring Melodies, Dancing Feet."

Admission is free, and all are welcome. We hope to see everyone there!

UPDATE: Tonight's (July 2) Lakeside Concert is cancelled. Due to extreme temperatures, we regret that we are unable to perform tonight’s program. (Our indoor venue is unavailable due to auditorium renovations.) Please make plans to join us on July 9 for the Matt Olson Jazz Quartet. SongFest is coming to Furman! 🎶
SongFest, the internationally acclaimed art song festival and training program, is proud to begin an exciting new chapter this summer at Furman University under the leadership of its new Director, Grant Knox. Hosted on Furman’s beautiful campus from June 29–July 20, SongFest brings together world-renowned artist-teachers and talented singers and pianists from leading conservatories and universities for an intensive celebration of vocal chamber music. Throughout the festival, audiences are invited to enjoy a diverse series of concerts featuring art song, opera, American music, international repertoire, and master artists. All concerts are free and open to the public and will take place in Daniel Recital Hall. We invite you to join us for this remarkable summer of music-making, discovery, and artistic excellence.

Chicora Voices, Greenville's own professional choir, presents “Birdsong and Fragrant Flowers,” a concert of East Asian choral music. Discover the elegant soundscapes of East Asia through this vibrant program of charming folk songs and new works for choir from China, Taiwan, Korea, and Japan. Directed by Furman alumnus Philip Reed, Chicora Voices is a world class choral ensemble comprising vocalists from across the Southeast.
