You know what I love about BNI?
Sure...we celebrate referrals, one-to-ones, CEUs, visitors, and all the numbers.
But behind every certificate is someone who got up early.
Someone who showed up when they didn't feel like it.
Someone who made introductions, built relationships, answered the phone, and kept showing up week after week.

Success doesn't happen by accident.
It happens because ordinary people make the decision to be consistent.

🌟 May was a pretty great month at BNI GV01! 🌟

We welcomed new members into the chapter, learned from experts across a variety of industries, and continued doing what we do best—building relationships that help businesses grow.

Over the course of the month, we gained valuable insights from painters, financial planners, lenders, and other professionals who generously shared their knowledge and expertise. Every meeting is a reminder that when you surround yourself with good people, you never stop learning.

But one of my favorite parts of May was having opportunities to give back to our community. Referrals are important, business growth matters, but making a positive impact beyond our own businesses is what truly sets this group apart.

I'm grateful to be part of a chapter that believes in supporting one another, serving others, and having a little fun along the way.

Community over competition. Service over self.

This morning, members of BNI GV01 traded business cards for work gloves and spent some time helping our friends at Ho**er Memorial Church with a few housekeeping projects.

One of the things I love most about this group is that we don't just show up for referrals—we show up for our community.

Many hands truly do make for light work, and when you get a bunch of servant-hearted people together, amazing things happen.

A huge thank you to everyone who gave their time, energy, and elbow grease today. 💪❤️

Last night was 🔥… and also 🥶😂

We bundled up and showed up to cheer on Steven Lipscomb in the championship game, and it was such a fun night.

Cold rink ❄️
Fast skates 🏒
Great plays 🙌
And a crowd bringing ALL the energy 🔥

No big hits… but plenty of hustle, teamwork, and those blink-and-you-miss-it moments on the ice.

Also, pretty sure I lost feeling in my toes somewhere around the second period… but totally worth it 😅

Win or lose, showing up for your people never goes out of style. And last night? That was a GOOD one 👏🔥🏒

But we DID show up loud and proud for our guy Steven Lipscomb in the goal 🧱🥅

And let me tell you—
Watching your BNI connection willingly stand in front of flying frozen rubber at high speeds really builds a different level of trust 😂

Meanwhile, the rest of us:
✔️ Stayed safely behind the glass
✔️ Offered very professional coaching advice from the stands
✔️ Formed the official fan club… THE MULLET MOB 🙌

Because nothing says “serious business networking” like yelling at a hockey game on a Monday night 😅
