The American Enterprise Institute (AEI) Executive Council at Furman is a student-led group dedicated to informing and enlightening the Furman community about the most challenging and difficult policy issues of the world. It represents AEI on Furman by hosting scholars on campus, organizing student debates, and leading reading groups and film viewings about key global issues. The American Enterprise Institute (AEI) in Washington DC, is a non-partisan public policy research group home to some of America’s most renowned economists, political scientists, legal scholars, and foreign policy experts. It connects with undergraduate campuses through its Executive Council program by providing educational and career opportunities throughout the year. It is dedicated to promoting independent thinking, open debate, and reasoned argument in our increasingly-polarized society.
