We love having special visitors—especially grandmothers—come to our school and share their knowledge with our students! 💙🦋

Today, we welcomed Patti Livingston and Gwin Cumbaa from the Leland-Deer Creek Garden Club, who brought monarch caterpillars to our school. They read My, Oh My—A Butterfly! Preschoolers enjoyed observing the caterpillars and can’t wait for them to be returned to St James once they are in their Chrysalis’ ! Then we will get to wait and watch as they hatch into beautiful butterflies!

Today was our last Wednesday Chapel with Father Brandt, and it was a bittersweet one. ❤️

After 12 wonderful years of serving the Greenville community, Father Brandt has been called to serve at another church. While we are so excited for this next chapter God has planned for him, we will certainly miss him here at St. James!

We are especially grateful for the way he has faithfully led us in a Bible lesson each week, helping our children grow in their faith and teaching them the importance of being part of a church family.

Thank you, Father Brandt, for pouring into our children and our school family. We love you, we appreciate you, and we will be praying for you as you begin this new journey! ❤️🙏

Kids are just so great to be around, full of enthusiasm, and they can be so funny.

Mh favorite childrens book would have to be ‘Love You Forever’ by Robert Munsch

Favorite bible verse: Matthew 11:28

Im excited that I get to be part of their first steps in learning and growing. Watching their little faces light up when they learn something new is so rewarding. I love knowing that I’m making a positive difference in their lives, even in the smallest ways
