We would love to continue supporting students in need within our school community. Please share to help us spread the word! 💙

Students need your help! 🏫

When the school week ends on Friday, some students don’t know where their next meal is coming from. The Weeknd Food Backpack Program closes that gap by sending them home with a bag of easy to prepare meals for Saturday and Sunday.

Five Greenville County schools need backpack sponsors for the 2026-27 school year. We’re looking for churches resource groups, businesses or other organizations that can commit to sponsoring one School for the year.

School sizes range from 10 to 60 children. Sponsorship means packing or purchasing weekend meal bags ($6/child from ) and delivering them to the school weekly. If your group could help, please share this flyer or contact DeAndra Reasonover at [email protected] or text 864-365-6357.

Happy School Nurse Day to our newest Bluebird, Nurse Jen! Since joining us in December, she’s been making an incredible impact. We’re so grateful for her dedication to caring for our students and for the way she supports and educates our families and staff on the importance of health and safety. Today, she was showered with well-deserved appreciation and gratitude! 💙💫

We love our teachers at NWC! Take a moment to give your classroom team a shoutout in the comments. We are so grateful for the dedication and care each teacher and team brings every single day. 💙💫

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! We are celebrating the more than 6,000 Greenville County Schools teachers who dedicate themselves to ensuring every student reaches their potential. They are helping GCS “Reach New Heights,” hitting historic milestones like a record-breaking 90.6% graduation rate for the Class of 2025.

Make sure you tag a teacher in the comments to thank them for their passion and unwavering belief in our students.

You also have the ability to honor those teachers through the Future Teachers Scholarship, established by the Greenville County Schools Foundation. It provides financial support to GCS students pursuing careers in education, Learn more: https://tinyurl.com/msjnw4h8

Our 2nd Annual NWC TeeBall Field Day was even better this year! With team shirts, an amazing crew of high school baseball players, and a special visit from The Greenville Drive’s very own Reedy Rip’It, the day was a hit! Our Bluebirds had a blast, and the support from our families meant more than you know.

A huge thank you to Mrs. Green for organizing such a special event for our school community, and to the Travelers Rest High baseball players and Reedy—we appreciate you for helping create unforgettable memories for our students!

And a special thank you to Greenville County Schools Nutrition Services and our cafeteria manager, Mrs. Regina for preparing the delicious meal—you truly were our school lunch heroes today! 💙💫
