🔹8th Grade Promotion Ceremony (Tickets Required) @ 9:30 am
🔹Last Day of School - Early Release @12:30 pm

🔹 Ceremonia de promoción de 8.º grado (se requieren entradas) a las 9:30 a. m.
🔹 Último día de clases: salida anticipada a las 12:30 p. m.

🏆 Mark your calendars! Wellcome Middle School's Awards Day will be held on June 9, 2026, from 9:30–10:30 AM as we celebrate the achievements of our 6th and 7th grade students.

*Award recipients will receive letters inviting their parents to attend.

This spring, Wellcome Middle School’s National Junior Honor Society selected the Pitt County Animal Services for their service project.

Throughout the semester, NJHS members raised funds to support the shelter and were even invited to visit and meet some of the animals. They had an amazing time with the pets and seeing firsthand the impact of their donations.

We are incredibly proud of these students for demonstrating leadership, service, and kindness while making a meaningful difference for animals in need. 💙🐾

We have been informed that the Boys & Girls Club will be CLOSED for the remainder of the school year.

End-of-Grade testing resumes Tuesday, June 2nd with Math and Math 1. Please ensure your child gets a good night’s sleep, eats a healthy breakfast, and arrives to school on time.

Congratulations to Ms. Boyd and the band students who represented Wellcome as members of the Pitt County Collective Band.

Joining forces with C.M. Eppes, E.B. Aycock, Farmville, and Pactolus, the ensemble earned 1st Place in their division and 1st Place Overall among all middle school/junior high groups.🥇🎵👏

We are so proud of their hard work, talent, and outstanding achievement. Way to represent Pitt County!
