Understanding how life begins is such an important lesson for our students which is why a core part of our curriculum is the stages of human development.

Part of SRA Education is positive character development. At the end of each lesson, we teach a different character trait which helps promote optimal health and overall wellbeing for our students. According to the Universal Standards for K-12, positive character is fundamental to developing healthy relationships and optimal s*xual development.
Weāre all being shaped by what we watchāsocial media, movies, TV showsā¦ it adds up.
Too often, s*x is portrayed as casual and consequence-free, without ever showing the full picture.
Thatās why we create space for real, honest conversations in the classroom. Not to tell students what to thinkābut to help them think for themselves.
Because their decisions should be informedānot influenced.

Itās impossible to separate s*x from the serious emotional and physical consequences that come with it. Even so-called āsafeā s*x can never eliminate the risk. Condoms canāt guarantee 100% protection from pregnancy, STDs, or a broken heart. We teach our students that s*x is something special to be valued, not treated casually. Reject the lie of casual s*x and live free!

Being abstinence educators means having honest, open conversations that help students think for themselves, ask good questions, and make confident decisions. Thatās what itās all about.
