How often do you feel stuck or in a rut? Every month? Once a year? Every couple years?
I recently had a convo on this reoccurring "phenomenon with a friend who has a PHD and works in neurology and psychiatry".
We all have subconcious "coping" mechanisms we've learned through life. The thing is they might not seem like they are negative ... food, watching a movie, looking for a relationship, video games, isolation, s*x, the list goes on... and they aren't inherently negative.
Hypothetical example. Let's say when you drink alcohol your "spirit" leaves your body. You decided to have that drink because you are feeling challenged somehow and living is too painful for your spirit to remain in your body. And when you push your spirit out that's when you feel stuck.
So take any of the coping examples I mentioned. You chose them because instead of looking for opportunity, you are looking for a way to avoid pain. READ THAT AGAIN.
If you are doing something that isn't in alignment with your life path you will push your spirit out as to avoid pain. As long as you keep pushing out your spirit you will feel stuck. You must spend time with it to become more whole, fulfilled, aligned... whatever you want to call it.
