The first week of school is underway for Butler County students, administrators, staff and teachers. Our Teresa Lawson got to spend the morning with two Butler County School principals to see how the new school year is going so far.

Join us for the Greenville High School Youth Volleyball Camp on Wednesday, July 29! Whether you’re just learning the game or looking to sharpen your skills, this camp is a great opportunity to learn, compete, and have fun with our GHS volleyball program.

🏐 Ages 6–11: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
🏐 Ages 12–18: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
💲 $30 per player
📍 Greenville High School Gym

Come work hard, make new friends, and fall in love with the game of volleyball. We can’t wait to see you in the gym!

📢 Summer Camp Field Trip Reminder! 🔬🚌

Our Summer Camp students will be taking a field trip to the McWane Science Center in Birmingham on Wednesday, June 17th!

✅ Students must arrive at school by 6:30 a.m.
✅ Buses will depart promptly at 7:00 a.m.
✅ Students should eat breakfast at home before arriving
✅ No money is needed—all admission fees and planned expenses have already been covered.
✅ Parents are welcome to attend by following the buses and paying their own admission upon arrival.

If your child will not be attending the trip, please keep them home that day, as all summer camp staff will be accompanying students on the trip.

We expect to return to school at approximately 4:00 p.m.

We are excited for a fun day of learning and exploration! 🧪🚀🔭
