Gadgets claiming to strengthen face muscles? Not so fast. They might not target the right muscles correctly. True change comes from understanding what works, not sticking to unproven systems. Speaking truth matters, even when it's tough.
Tight equipment, a small mouthpiece, or horn can impact your pitch. Tongue level and too much buzzing can also be factors. The cures? Better equipment and K tongue modification.
What should a student focus on when first using the Clarke Technical Study? Fi*****ng, notes, and getting familiar with alternate fingerings are key. Also, think about hand and tongue level. Focus on a sure sound, and remember you'll get stronger as you go.
