Hands-On Learning in Ag Construction!

Mrs. Groves’ Agriculture Construction Skills students got hands-on today as they mixed concrete and performed a slump test to determine the concrete’s workability and consistency.

Students put their classroom knowledge to work by learning how water content and concrete consistency can affect how concrete performs on the job. There’s no better way to learn construction skills than by getting out in the shop and doing it!

Look who presented at the CTE conference in Louisville this week!

In this presentation, Mrs. Thompson and Mr. Payton discussed how our school has utilized our 3D printers and laser engravers to put money back into our program. They also discussed how our Engineering classes have collaborated with our elementary schools to introduce engineering principles at a young age and get students excited about our program.
