A current student, Alissa Thompson, who works in University History and Records Department, looked at past student life and campus history to curate the exhibit, "A Century of Architecture at East Carolina University."
This exhibit, located in the North Carolina Collection on our 3rd floor, features images from Joyner Library Special Collections and Laupus Health Sciences Library at ECU History Collections depicting landmark buildings that illustrate the growth of ECU's educational mission from its founding in 1907.

We had a great time "experiencing the past" and portraying book binder and stationer business at the Eastern Carolina Village and Farm Museum's Historic Trades Day - trades and skills of the 1800s.
We showed historic bookbinding, inks, letters and stationary trades.

Following the open house celebration from October 2025, now we've had months and months of enjoying collaborations, additions, plenty of new features, professional development and high-impact moments.
Redesigned Resource
The Teaching Resources Center was redesigned to be a brighter, more collaborative space in Joyner Library for future and current educators.
