Please join us in welcoming two new members of the ECU Libraries team - Kathryn Maser, the new liaison librarian to the Brody School of Medicine here at East Carolina University and Robert Honegger, the new stacks manager in Circulation and Interlibrary Loan.
Maser recently earned her Master of Library and Information Science degree, bringing experience in health sciences librarianship, research and instruction. She is passionate about helping others build confidence in finding, evaluating and effectively using information. She looks forward to building relationships and collaborating with the Brody School of Medicine and the broader ECU communities. Outside of the library, Maser enjoys sports, traveling, and spending time with family. She is thrilled to be joining ECU and looks forward to getting to know everyone.
Honegger has served in public libraries for the past five years since graduating with his MLIS from the University of North Texas. He began as a Children’s Librarian in San Angelo, Texas, and later transitioned to Public Services Librarian at the Stephens Central Branch. He most recently worked as the Circulation Head at Braswell Memorial Library in Rocky Mount. He is excited to transition to an academic library setting, joining the team at ECU Libraries and supporting the aims of higher education. A couple of his favorite picture book authors are Dan Santat and Sophie Blackall.
