Meet our Flute Instructor

Daria Hudymenko is a professional flutist, conductor, and dedicated music educator from Ukraine. She earned her Master’s degree from the Lviv National Music Academy and has performed throughout Europe and the United States with renowned ensembles, including the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Hawaiian Band. With over five years of teaching experience, Daria is passionate about inspiring students of all ages to grow in confidence, develop excellent musicianship, and cultivate a lifelong love for music.

The pentatonic scale is one of the most important scales every guitarist should learn because it helps build a strong musical foundation.

Learning the pentatonic scale helps students:
• Improve finger coordination and technique
• Learn to navigate the fretboard with confidence
• Develop stronger improvisation and soloing skills
• Recognize common patterns used in countless songs across rock, blues, country, pop, and worship music
• Strengthen ear training by connecting what they hear to what they play

Absolutely.

Some of our students have never stepped foot in a physical studio and they’re successfully learning piano, voice, and guitar from the comfort of home. The truth is that success isn’t determined by the location of the lesson. It’s determined by the quality of instruction and a student’s commitment to learning.
