Everyday my employees where shirts to help remind each other, our child, our parents and others who may read them, it’s ok to be different, to be kind and thoughtful to the people around us.

Parents,

Today’s lunch was Veggie Hamburger Helper, melon, corn, whole-grain bread, and milk.

The Veggie Hamburger Helper was packed with vegetables, including onions, mushrooms, zucchini, carrots, and tomato sauce. The vegetables were finely chopped and mixed right into the meat and sauce, which made them easy for the children to enjoy.

We were so proud of them today — almost all of the children ate some of it, and many ate all of it! ❤️

While we ate, we talked about how our foods help our bodies: the hamburger helper gives us protein for strong muscles, melon helps keep us hydrated, corn and whole grains give us energy and fiber, and milk gives us calcium for strong bones and teeth.

We love helping our children learn that nutritious food can be healthy and delicious!

Last week, while picking up our children from school, a staff member shared something that truly touched my heart. She told me how much they love the children from Reynolds Day Care and said they are some of the best-behaved children. ❤️

I cannot mention the school because they are not allowed to recognize one daycare over another, but I can certainly recognize our children!

For the past several summers, we have taught them about being kind, showing love, being different in a positive way, and letting their light shine wherever they go. Hearing this compliment reminded me that those lessons are staying with them—even when they are away from us.

I am so proud of our children! Continue to be kind, continue to show love, and always remember to BE THE LIGHT! 🌟

Parents,

Yesterday, I hired another part-time teacher, and one of our parents has offered to become a substitute teacher. Now we need your help bringing more children to Reynolds Day Care!

Our enrollment is down to 32 children, and we usually have between 45 and 50. Please help us spread the word that we are accepting new children ages 2 and older.

We have the best children, the best parents, and the best teachers—and together, that makes us “The Best Day Care Ever!”
