Special thanks to GE Vernova, a valued Community Partner, for their support of our school and public programs, their participation in our STEM Days of Summer and Love of STEM programs, and their sponsorship of our annual Pi Day Party fundraiser. Their investment makes it possible for us to provide hands-on, standards-based lessons for students and educational programming for the public.
Thank you, GE Vernova, for helping us fulfill our mission to ignite the natural curiosity of all learners to explore and shape their world.

Sensory Friendly Hours: June 20 and July 18
Join us for a Sensory Friendly Hour before we open to the public on Saturday, June 20, and Saturday, July 18, from 9 to 10 a.m. During this hour, we will have a calmer, quieter atmosphere for guests that may need a more muted sensory experience. The twinkly lights and background music will be off, and there will be less staff and volunteers around the buildings interacting with guests for an overall quieter experience.
We also have sensory bags available to check out at the front desk in the Environmental Science building during all of our open hours this summer. Inside these bags you'll find communication cards, noise cancelling headphones, and a variety of fidget toys.
Roper Mountain is dedicated to igniting the natural curiosity of all learners to explore and shape their world. Come out and join the fun this summer!
