Interment of Miss Mae's Ashes
It has been over six months since Miss Mae went home to be with the Lord, but due to the cold weather at the time of her memorial service, the interment of her ashes was postponed until a later date. Additional scheduling issues caused further delays, but we are happy to announce that we will be having a special service in the Miracle Hill Chapel on Saturday, September 19th in conjunction with our Alumni Family Gathering.
Her son Darrell has said. "Having her kids gathered around her as we lay her ashes to rest feels like the right final tribute. Miss Mae gave so much of herself to those children and to that home, and I can't think of a more fitting way to send her off than surrounded by the people whose lives she touched."
Mark your calendars for September 19th at 10:00 a.m. at the Miracle Hill Chapel. The chapel service will be followed by the interment of the Miss Mae's ashes in the MH cemetery. Lunch at the picnic shelter will be available for anyone in attendance.
