Summer Recap!! 🌞🌞
Here is a glimpse of what we've been up to this summer:
- created, designed, and launched a study for parents
- collected data at farmers' markets with kids
- presented at the Furman Undergraduate Summer Research Fellows Conference
- crafted our CVs and personal statements
- played pickleball with the psychology department
- tried our best at trivia with the psychology department
- finished the summer off with a celebratory lunch
We had so much fun this summer and have exciting plans for the fall! Stay tuned!

Sky Wright graduated from Furman University in May 2025 with a B.A. in Psychology and Minor in Linguistics. She will be completing her Master's at NYU Steinhardt! The Dev Lab is so proud of Skye and can't wait to see what the future holds!

Congratulations to Carolina Ottich Seiwald and Elizabeth Mitchell for receiving the Janet Hysinger Cover Award for outstanding presentation during the Furman Psychology Department’s Annual Summer Research Conference. We are so proud of you and all of your amazing work!

Natalie Huber graduated from Furman University in May 2025 with a B.S. in Psychology. She's currently working as an Occupational Therapy Technician at the SpOT clinic. We’re so proud of Natalie and can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes in the future! 🌟🧠

She recently accepted a job as a postbaccalaureate research associate at the University of Notre Dame. The Furman Development Lab is so proud of Rose and can't wait to see all she accomplishes!
