1:00pm-5:00pm Texas 4-H is a club for kids and teens ages 5-18, and it’s BIG! Join for $25 or less!

It’s the largest youth development program in Texas with more than 550,000 youth each year. No matter where you live or what you like to do, Texas 4-H has something that lets you be a better you! You may think 4-H is only for your friends with animals, but it’s so much more! You can do activities like shooting sports, food science, healthy living, robotics, fashion, and photography. lubs at your school, an after-school program, a community center, or even on base or through the reserves for military families. Texas 4-H is part of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the Texas A&M System. Founded in 1908, 4-H is the largest youth development program in Texas, reaching more than 550,000 youth each year. In 4-H, the activities are organized by topics and called ‘projects.’ All 4-H members must be enrolled in at least one project. When you choose a project, you will learn everything there is to know about that topic. You will participate in various hands-on activities, learn new skills, do community service, or even make speeches about your project. Browse the list of projects to see what you would like to do. Texas 4-H is for kids of almost any age – grades K-2 can be in Clover Kids. From 3rd-12th grades(8 years old before September 1st), you can be in 4-H. Here is a great opportunity for members interested in Vet Science!

🐾 VET SCIENCE EXPLORERS — REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN! 🐾

Interested in veterinary medicine, animal science, or working with animals? This is a great place to start! 🩺🐄🐑🐔

Join Dallas County 4-H Vet Science Explorers for three days of hands-on learning, animal experiences, and real-world activities designed as an introductory experience to veterinary science and animal care.

Whether your student is just beginning to explore the field or already has an interest in a future career with animals, this camp is an opportunity to learn, explore, ask questions, and gain practical experience in a fun, hands-on environment.

No previous veterinary experience is required — this is an introductory opportunity for youth who want to explore the field!

📣📣 LAST CALL to apply for our Clover Cash Grant program! We have $20,000 in grants available to county, district, and state 4-H programs to provide Texas 4-H members opportunities to learn more about agriculture and advocacy.

🍀Applications are due Aug. 17.🍀

AgriLife Extension Agents, District 4-H Specialists, Texas 4-H staff or adult leaders of any county, district or state level 4-H program are eligible to apply.
