🎉 Congratulations to Dr. Brandon Schultz, ECU’s Innovator of the Month! 🎉
The Innovator of the Month award, established by ECU’s Office of Licensing and Commercialization, recognizes faculty whose novel innovations have the potential to make a major impact across eastern North Carolina and beyond.
This month’s honoree is Dr. Brandon Schultz, associate professor in the Department of Psychology, for his work developing ATHEMOS, a video game and real-world intervention package created in collaboration with Ohio University.
ATHEMOS helps middle school students with ADHD strengthen their organization, scheduling, and note-taking skills by combining gameplay with evidence-based behavioral strategies. The program is now being advanced from a PC-based prototype to a cross-platform mobile experience, increasing accessibility for students, parents, and educators alike. See more information here: https://www.athemosthegame.org/
👏 Congratulations, Dr. Schultz, on this well-deserved recognition!
