This week Lander University SPTM students competed at the National Collegiate Sports Sales Championship in Atlanta hosted by the Atlanta Hawks and Baylor University. Lander students placed within the final four schools in the Quantum Quiz category and gained valuable experiences and connections during the competition.

Lander University students had the opportunity to listen to a panel of business alumni and industry professionals regarding best practices for career placement and growth. The panelists took questions from students ranging from internships to advancements in professional development post graduation. A special thank you to our alumni supporting our students today.

Tomorrow Lander University College of Business is hosting a career readiness panel with Lander alumni representing several industry sectors. The discussion will begin at 10 a.m. in LC 200 and will be moderated by Professor Gail Moore, JD, CPA. All students are welcome to attend.

The Lander University Bachelor of Human Services program will partner with the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMH) in Greenville, SC. Human services and psychology students will have opportunities to intern and volunteer in a variety of ways to assist families with ill children. RMH provides support, a home-like atmosphere, meals, and lodging to families with children being treated in settings such as the Prisma hospital system, Shriner's Hospital, St. Francis, Greenwood Genetics Center and others.

The Human Services program is offered at the University Center Greenville-UCG, fully online, or in-person on the Lander Greenwood campus. The program also has a current online student completing a field placement at a Ronald McDonald House in New York City!

Lander University Sport Management Students recently participated and assisted with the facilitation of this year's Peach Belt Conference Indoor Track Championships, held at the University of Florida. Students also toured the athletic facilities on campus including "The Swamp."
