✨ Co-Founder Spotlight ✨
Meet (or say hello again to!) Lindsey DeLoach Jones, co-founder of Writeshare!
holds a BA and MA in English and an MFA in Creative Nonfiction. She has taught creative writing at Clemson University and the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts & Humanities, and she has served as Editor of Emrys Journal and Edible Upcountry.
She currently teaches writing online and in-person via Writeshare (hey, that’s us!), and has a successful Substack called Between Two Things.
On her Substack, Lindsey recently introduced a new section called UNmachining Motherhood where she explores how modern productivity culture has shaped parenting—and how to maintain one’s humanity when the whole world wants you to be a robot. Highly recommend!

✏️ Our final Craft Book Club meeting is tonight!
We’re looking forward to discussing A Swim in a Pond in the Rain by George Saunders with .
About the book 👉 For the last twenty years, George Saunders has been teaching a class on the Russian short story to his MFA students at Syracuse University. In A Swim in a Pond in the Rain, he shares a version of that class with us, offering some of what he and his students have discovered together over the years. Paired with iconic short stories by Chekhov, Turgenev, Tolstoy, and Gogol, the seven essays in this book are intended for anyone interested in how fiction works and why it’s more relevant than ever in these turbulent times.
Have you read this one yet?
