One last little post today... this Thanksgiving, I am thankful for family and friends, for students and fellow staff, for a job I adore and a chance to educate and to continue being educated, for pets and every blessing, and mostly for a God and Savior who brings all of this together.

Every single day, without fail, someone shares with us how thankful they are for DCS. We feel it too and know that it is not because of us, but because of God who allows us to be used for His glory. On our own, we could never make anything work out the way it does. Jesus does it in His own time and in His own way. 

Thank you for faithfully praying for these wonderful students and their families, and for these amazing educators. We are so grateful indeed!- Marla Ray

Today, as you can see, I am catching up on posting for the entire semester. I'm starting at Texas TMEA Region Clinic and Concert day and heading towards the Thanksgiving feast.  We give God all the glory for the most amazing semester so far and we are so thankful for all the students and families He brought us. God is so good and we could not be more thankful.

Hi!! Now that Thanksgiving break is here, I have a few seconds to share a little bit of our semester. We don't take pictures during classes generally… so most of our pictures come from student council events, See You at the Pole, and other outdoor fun activities. We have the absolute best kids ever, and a phenomenal group of parents and teachers. God has blessed us with the most amazing school year so far and we could not be more thankful for what HE is doing at our school. We do not take the credit for it, but accept it as a gift that He has shared with us and our students and families. We are beyond thankful for the semester we have had. (I will try to be more consistent in posting what's going on in the life of DCS. I have more posts today…) Here's a snapshot of September 2025 at the Depot!

Our neighbors next door mean so much to us. They watch over our students and staff daily. We are heartbroken over the loss they have experienced and want to share our support and gratitude for their service and dedication to keeping our community safe.
