Yesterday, we told you that something exciting was happening behind the scenes at ISG… and here is the first look. 👀

The furniture is in place, the board is up, and the classroom is beginning to take shape.

For now, it is still very simple — functional, but not yet the warm, welcoming space we want our children to discover on August 19.

🇩🇪 Help Us Build Our German Children’s Library at ISG! 📚

As part of the launch of our new German-language pathway at The International School of Greenville, we are currently developing a dedicated collection of German books for our school library.

We would love to give a second life to beautiful children’s books that may already be sitting on the shelves of German-speaking families in the Greenville community. We are therefore looking for German-language books suitable for children approximately 2 to 10 years old — picture books, first readers, storybooks, classics, educational books, and children’s nonfiction are all very welcome.

Our goal is to create a rich and inviting German-language library where children can discover stories, develop their vocabulary, and maintain a strong connection with the German language and culture. 🇩🇪📖

If your family has books your children have outgrown and you would be happy to see them enjoyed by a new generation of young readers, we would be delighted to include them in the ISG library.

Books can be dropped off at The International School of Greenville, 212 Roper Mountain Rd Ext, Greenville SC, and I would be happy to coordinate directly with anyone interested.
