Preschool - 5th Grade, offering Chinese Immersion. We currently have 410 students in our preschool - 5th grade school.
We offer a unique opportunity for any Greenville Public School student with our 50-50 Chinese Immersion program. Students in this program can continue throughout their entire GPS career and have the opportunity to graduate from GPS with a minor in Mandarin from Western Michigan University. Walnut Hills offers before and after school daycare in our Children's Corner program. This program is open every day from 6:00am-6:00pm as well as throughout the summer.

Corewell Health’s Community Health Worker, Evi Peterson, shared nutrition
and physical education information with the children at Walnut Hills Elementary this week. The school is one of four locations that are open for FREE breakfast and lunch throughout the summer through our Meet Up and Eat Up program. Ms. Peterson will also be at our Baldwin Heights location on July 10th for lunch and at our High School on July 17th for lunch. Come join us each weekday for fun and food!

Walnut Hill's Support Staff of the Year is Rachel Stemen! Rachel works as a paraprofessional helping to support the needs of teachers and students. Today we held the Walnut Hills Talent Show. We showcased the talent of 21 different acts, ranging from Kindergarten to 5th grade. It was incredible!! What an amazing group of talented and courageous students.

Some of our Immersion students and staff went to Chicago last weekend! They explored the Field Museum, had a walking tour and homemade dumpling lunch in Chinatown, and ended their day in Millennium Park to see The Bean. A huge thank you to the chaperones who joined us and to those who graciously donated to the OUR3 fund. You made this trip possible. It was a wonderful experience for all! 🏙️❤️🥟⛩️
