TONIGHT!! The final Lakeside concert of the summer!! Join us as we "Bounce Through the Decades" with popular music that will make you want to sing and dance. With guest vocalist Tyrese Byrd, the Lakeside Band performs music by Michael Jackson, George Gershwin, Earth Wind and Fire, Andrew Lloyd Weber and more! In McAlister Auditorium at 7:30 pm--FREE, COOL, DRY, and FUN!

Join us for "Rhapsody in Blues and Hues" presented by the Lakeside Concert Band at 7:30 pm Thursday night, in Furman's beautiful (and dry and comfortable!) McAlister Auditorium! Music includes Gershwin's masterwork Rhapsody in Blue, featuring Dr. Derek Parsons, piano, and other selections by Mancini, Ellington, Sinatra, Bernstein, and more! Free and open to the public! Only 2 more opportunities to enjoy the music-making of these talented community musicians this summer!

Furman’s Lakeside concert tonight will features Matt Olson and Friends playing some great jazz! Come hear them in the comfort of McAlister auditorium at 7:30 PM tonight! 

Due to a dangerously high heat index, we have moved tonight’s Lakeside concert series event into McAlister auditorium! Stay cool on this Fourth while still experiencing some explosive fun with fantastic music and the painting of our friends at Paintjam! Our MC, JDew, will lead an art auction of these original paintings at the end of the concert performance! It’s going to be a great time! All we need is you! 

Join us Thursday night 6/27 at 7:30 pm for a special night of patriotic music featuring the fabulous Furman Lakeside Concert Band and the Greenville Chorale and special guests spanning 7 decades of alumni of the Furman Bands! With all of those talented musicians, add an amazing audience, and you’re sure to see some fireworks! Free and open to the public. Bring lawn chairs. In the Furman amphitheater. Come early for decent parking and a shuttle ride to the amphitheater!

Calling all Furman Bands alumni! Join us June 26-27 for the 1st band alumni reunion! The reunion includes a banquet, a chance to perform as part of the Lakeside Concert Series, visiting with former classmates and conductors and others who share the Furman Bands experience, and strolling down memory lane while creating new ones!! Registration is open until May 31!!
