❤️🐾💙 There’s Always Something Happening at Cherrydale! 💙🐾❤️

Over the last two weeks, our Panthers have had so much to celebrate and plenty to keep them busy! 🎉

🔦 Students have enjoyed Flashlight Fridays and making reading extra fun!
🏗️ They put their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test by working together to build the tallest tower using only the supplies they were given.
🧮 Our Panthers have been getting hands-on with math manipulatives while strengthening their counting skills.
🛝 And, of course, we’ve squeezed in some playground fun whenever the temperature allows! ☀️

We are so thankful for all of the learning, laughter, teamwork, and fun happening throughout our building. It has already been a wonderful start to the year, and we are so excited to see what’s ahead for our Panthers! ❤️💙

🎉 FIRST WEEK COMPLETE! 🎉

What an amazing first week of school at Cherrydale! ❤️💙 Our Panthers spent the week forming new bonds, learning more about one another, and settling into their new classrooms and routines. Students also toured the school to learn about our expectations in the different areas they’ll visit and use throughout the year.

There were lots of smiles, new friendships, learning, and excitement filling our halls this week, and we are so proud of how well our Panthers have started the year! 🐾 We can’t wait to see all of the learning, growing, and memories this school year has in store for us!

A special shoutout to our Cherrydale Panthers PTA and Canal Coffee Company for treating our teachers today and showing them some much-deserved appreciation! ☕️❤️ Our teachers have worked incredibly hard not only this week, but throughout the weeks leading up to school to prepare their classrooms and our building for students. It was the perfect way to celebrate making it through a wonderful first week!

This morning, we had the honor of celebrating our 2026–2027 Teacher of the Year, Ms. Walgate, at the Greenville County Schools Teacher of the Year Breakfast! 🍎✨

Ms. Walgate’s dedication to her students, passion for learning, and commitment to the Cherrydale community make a lasting impact each and every day. We are incredibly proud to have her as part of our Panther family and are grateful for the care, enthusiasm, and excellence she brings to our school.

Congratulations, Ms. Walgate! Thank you for all you do for our students and our Cherrydale community. We are so proud to celebrate you! 💙❤️🐾

As we prepare to welcome our Panthers back, we’ve been celebrating the incredible people who have been working hard behind the scenes to get Cherrydale ready for a new school year! 💙❤️

Mrs. Johnson and Mr. West treated our amazing custodial staff to lunch to thank them for all of their hard work preparing the building for students and teachers. Eggs Up Grill welcomed our teachers back with a delicious breakfast, and generous community members have donated classroom and school supplies to help set our students up for success.

We are so grateful for the support of our Cherrydale family and community. We’re excited to launch into the school year together and can’t wait to welcome our students back for an amazing year of learning, growth, and fun! 🚀🐾
