A Seed Planted:
Celebrating Joshua Bovill, BOLD Leadership Network’s 2026 Administrator of the Year

When you pour into a child, you never truly know how far that impact will reach. For Joshua Bovill, being recognized as an Administrator of the Year brought everything full circle.

Reflecting on the honor Joshua shared how it brought back emotional memories of his third-grade principal, Mr. McClinton, and the incredible educators who invested in him early on. Now serving at Richmond Drive Elementary School, Joshua is dedicated to passing that exact same light, guidance, and support forward to his own students and teachers.

Beyond the recognition, Joshua highlights the true power of the BOLD Leadership Network:

"I think the thing that makes BOLD the most impactful is that network of support—of people that you can go to when you need somebody that can give you advice, give you feedback on what you're doing and where you're at... being able to collaborate and bounce ideas off of other people."

Summer Institute Spotlight!
The BOLD Leadership Network is absolutely thrilled to have Josh joining us to present at the upcoming Summer Institute for Richland School District One on Tuesday, June 2nd!

We can't wait to see him share his insights, passion, and leadership expertise with fellow educators.

Congratulations, Joshua, on this well-deserved honor, and we look forward to an incredible session next week!

Celebrating Excellence:
2026 BOLD Leadership Network
High School Student of the Year!

A huge congratulations to Kaelyn Holmes, who was named our 2026 High School Student of the Year!

Kaelyn is a true youth pillar in her community and beyond, recently completing a pharmaceutical tech internship in West Palm Beach, Florida.

For Kaelyn, being BOLD isn’t just a title—it is a statement and a way of life.

Accepting the award on her behalf was her sister, BOLD Scholar Keeley Holmes, a future teacher attending Clemson University. Keeley reminded everyone of the powerful legacy behind this achievement. With a mother who dedicated 25 years to education, this family continues to walk beautifully in the footsteps of leadership and service.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating Kaelyn’s incredible dedication and the bright future ahead of her!
