Every year on Constitution Day, our PTSA proudly provides pocket Constitutions to our students through the generous support of the 917 Society. 🇺🇸

It's one of the many ways we help enhance our students' educational experience and support learning beyond the classroom. Small gestures can make a lasting impact—and we're proud to be part of it.

♻️ Did you know? The green Clothes & Shoes Recycling Bin at the Elementary school isn't just about tidying out your closet — every pound donated helps support Greenville students!
👕👟🎒
Clean out those closets! Grab any clothes, shoes, backpacks, sheets, towels, blankets, or any fabric item you're not using, and drop them off. It's an easy way to keep stuff out of the landfill AND support our kids at the same time. 💚

Good morning Greenville Families! Time to introduce you to your PTSA Treasurer!

Hello my name is Kristi Ross. I was invited by a friend when my oldest was in middle school to join the PTSA. She said that I would learn things that I didn't even know I needed to know about. That has held true all the years I have been a member of the PTSA, which I think has been 8 years. I have served as Vice President and President. I have served on many committees at the school over the years as a parent representative and then reporting back at PTSA meetings to keep parents in the loop. This coming school year will be my second time serving as Treasurer and I will finish just as my youngest graduates Highschool in 2028.

Speaking of my kids, I have 3 boys. My oldest, Edward, graduated Greenville in 2004 and is currently at RPI working on a degree in architecture. My middle, Ian, graduated this year and will be going to Hudson Valley Community College for IT in cyber security this fall. My youngest, Henry, will be a Junior this year in Greenville.

My husband, Ed, and I own a metal roofing and siding (manufacturing) business in Coxsackie that keeps us very busy. If we are not there, we are usually volunteering at something our kids want to be a part of or watching them at their sport games.

We live in Freehold. I enjoy reading, hanging out with my family/friends and taking walks on the beautiful country roads we all in this community are spoiled to be surrounded by. We have mini Herefords, chickens, ducks, a couple cats and a dog. The kids grew up doing 4H so we always have had lots of animals.

Why I volunteer is I love the Greenville community. I love the Spartan spirit. We are there for each other. We lift each other up when we are down and we celebrate each other's accomplishments! In my opinion, there is no better school than Greenville! This year I am looking forward to new connections! We have a new Superintendent and a new Highschool Principal. Some may think that may be a bit of a challenge, but I think we should look at it as a brand new chapter full of fresh ideas brought to our school year. I am really excited about our new PTSA President that is bringing momentum of her own that we can follow and support. The year ahead is looking hopeful! I hope you join us!

You should have received this in your email! DEADLINE IS MONDAY!!!

We are excited to start a new school year in the most productive and effective way possible with the ONLINE student bus registration form. All students are required to fill out this form, whether they ride the bus or not, by August 3, 2026.

Please indicate your child's general transportation needs for the start of the school year. Do NOT request transportation if it is not needed, as this data will be used to create efficient bus routes.

Students who do not select bus transportation on this form (for the beginning of the school year) can always resume bus transportation any time during the school year by emailing [email protected].

If you would prefer a paper copy of the form, please pick one up in any of the main offices and submit by mail, email, or fax to the transportation office. Your help in creating a more efficient transportation service is greatly appreciated.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the District doing about the nationwide bus driver shortage?
We are actively recruiting new drivers and working on our retention efforts. Additionally, we’re continuously analyzing our internal route data to provide more effective transportation.

How can I help the transportation office?
If you intend to start, or continue, transporting your child, please let us know so we can plan our routes effectively. Complete the mandatory Student Bus Registration form as soon as possible.

What if I DON’T request transportation for the start of the school year, but find out later in the year my child needs transportation?
Students who do not choose bus transportation for the beginning of the year can always resume transportation at any point during the school year. Bus route assignment will be made within 48 hours of the request. Please email [email protected] if your transportation needs change.

What if I DO request transportation for the start of the school year but my child doesn’t end up riding the bus?
We kindly ask that you let us know if your transportation needs change. If a student does not ride the bus for 14 days or more, the Transportation Department will reach out to the family to see if transportation is still needed.

Is the Student Bus Registration Form mandatory even if my child doesn’t ride the bus?
Yes, each year all families must notify the district of their child’s transportation needs for the new school year by completing the electronic form. If you’d prefer a paper form, you can pick one up in the main office.

What if my child needs to be picked up or dropped off at an alternate location?
While all requests will be reviewed and investigated, NYS Education Law states that changes may not be based upon the “personal challenges facing individual parents.” Stops cannot be changed for these reasons.

If you plan to request an alternate location for your child, please note that requests must be submitted annually by August 3, or as soon as possible, if family circumstances change during the school year. No changes will be implemented from August 25 through the second Monday of September. The request must be renewed every school year and/or whenever there is a change in arrangements. Transportation assignments will be made as quickly as possible (within 48 hours of confirmation of the requested bus stop location). We provide bus transportation for all registered students to a childcare provider who resides within the district. If you have more than one alternative location for your child, please note that on the form.

Thank you,

🎉 Where Does Your PTSA Membership Go?
One example is Quiz Night—a long-standing Greenville MS/HS tradition that brings students together for a night of friendly competition, teamwork, and fun.
Last year, your PTSA invested $730 to help make Quiz Night happen.
Your PTSA provided:
🏆 Cash prizes for the winning teams
🍨 Ice cream sundaes

Events like this create memories, encourage school spirit, and give students another opportunity to connect outside the classroom.
Every PTSA membership helps make traditions like Quiz Night possible.

Meet Your PTSA Secretary!

Hi everyone! I’m Rochelle Martin, and I’m honored to serve as the PTSA Secretary for Greenville Middle and High School. I’ve been involved with Greenville schools for many years as both a parent and recently an employee. I’ve been a PTSA member for about four years, and I love being part of a group that helps support our students, families, and staff.

A Few Fun Facts About Me

* I was born and raised in Hawaii
* I work for the Greenville Central School District as the Student Services/Special Education Secretary.
* I’m a proud mom of an upcoming senior, and my oldest son is also a Greenville graduate.
*I am a grandma (Tutu in Hawaiian) to 5 grandchildren
* You’ll usually find me spending time with family, creating content for my social media pages, or singing karaoke whenever I get the chance!

Why I Volunteer

Volunteering with the PTSA is my way of giving back to a school community that has given so much to my family. I believe that when parents, staff, and the community work together, we create an even better environment for our students to learn, grow, and succeed. It’s incredibly rewarding to be a small part of making Greenville a place where everyone feels supported and connected.

This Year I’m Looking Forward To…

I’m looking forward to another great year of bringing families together, supporting our students and teachers, and creating opportunities that make Greenville an even stronger community. I’m excited to work alongside an amazing PTSA team and meet even more families throughout the year!

🎉 Our PTSA is growing... and we'd love for you to be part of it!
Did you know our PTSA is made up entirely of volunteers? Parents, grandparents, caregivers, school staff, and community members all work together to support our students, teachers, and school community.
There are so many ways to get involved—and you don't have to do it alone!
This year, we're looking to fill several important Board positions:
⭐ Vice President (Middle School)
⭐ Corresponding Secretary
⭐ Fundraising Chair
⭐ Events Coordinator
Whether you have a few hours each month or lots of ideas to share, there's a place for you on our team.
Take a look at our flyer to learn more about what each role does. If something catches your eye—or if you just want to learn more—we'd love to chat! There's absolutely no pressure, just a conversation about how you can help make a difference for Greenville students.
💙 Every role matters.
💛 Every volunteer matters.
❤️ Every student benefits.

Good morning Greenville MS/HS Families!
We hope you had a nice, relaxing weekend 😎 Now it's time to....

🎒 Meet Your PTSA Vice President!

Hi everyone! My name is Janelle Bucci, and I am so excited to serve as your PTSA Vice President for the upcoming school year.

Having a background in early childhood education and years of experience leading local youth organizations, supporting our students (2 Greenville graduates), teachers, and families is incredibly close to my heart. I’m a big believer in strong community collaboration, transparent communication, and making sure our parents have a clear voice in our schools.

When I’m not volunteering, you can usually find me cooking, traveling, or spending time with my family.

I’m looking forward to another fantastic year ahead working alongside all of you to make this school year the best one yet for our kids. Please feel free to reach out, say hi, or share your ideas anytime! Let’s do this! 💙✨
