Q- First off, what's up with these blurre

d out faces on photos? A- During recruitment, there will be girls from each chapter called "Recruitment Counselors" who have temporarily disaffiliated from their organization in order to give unbiased advice. They are members of each org who give up their letters to help you find yours! Q- I'm only a first semester freshman, can I still come out to recruitment? First semester freshmen are allowed to come out to recruitment

Q- What panhellenic sororities are there at LIU Post currently? A- The panhellenic sororities are Alpha Epsilon Phi, Alpha Xi Delta, Delta Zeta, and Sigma Delta Tau

Q- How long is recruitment? A- Recruitment is about 4 days long. The events are held in the evening. Q- What do I wear? A- PHA's suggestion is to dress nice. You do not have to come in a dress, but should not be coming in sweatpants. Think of it as if you're going to a job interview. A cute top and nice jeans work just fine! If you are invited to preference night, you should be dressing in business attire/nicer attire, for this is a special ceremony held by each sorority. Q- What does PNM mean? A- PNM stands for potential new member. Q- Will I get hazed? LIU Post has a zero-tolerance policy for hazing, and it is a NY State Law. Q- What are recruitment counselors? A- Recruitment Counselors are here to answer any questions, clarify any confusion, and help you find where you belong. Recruitment counselors disaffiliates from their individual organization to help PNMs with an unbiased perspective through recruitment. Q-What is a bid? A- A bid is an official invitation from a chapter to become a new member. Q- What is a legacy? A- A student whose family member (ex: mother) is a member of a particular sorority. The student is given special membership consideration but not guarenteed a bid. Q- How do I sign up? A- When recruitment approaches, there will be link to register for recruitment.
