2026 Ky State Fair results are in! We had some individuals rank really high in the state considering there are usually well over 100-150 kids in these contests!

Tuesday August 18

Meet at GCHS at 9 am if you’d like to go practice livestock judging. Bring your own snacks and drinks! We’ve got 4 stops to make to look at live animals.

We will return to the high school by 1 pm

FFA meeting at 1 pm at the high school. Should be done by 2 pm

We’ve got a lot to do prepping for the state and county fairs!

We’re excited to invite special needs families to join us for Sunshine Day at the Greenup County Fair!

**Friday, September 4th, 9:00–11:30 AM
Greenup County Fairgrounds – Livestock Barns

Sunshine Day is open to special needs families only and is sponsored by Greenup County 4-H & FFA. Come enjoy a morning at the fair in a welcoming environment created especially for our special needs families! 💛

A light lunch will be provided at 11:00 AM.

George Hieneman, Bailee Miller, and Briar Osborne represented Greenup County and the beef industry very well!

Definite thanks to Greenup County Farm Bureau for sending three of our finest to IFAL (Institute for Future Agricultural Leaders). Hunter Stewart attended IFAL at UK while Trista Gilbert and George Hieneman, Jr went to Murray State University.

All three officers reported nothing but glowing remarks with life changing experiences. They are definitely the future!

Our GCFB is always making a positive difference in the lives of our members by providing opportunities for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success.
