📚🚐 Guess who’s coming to the Learning Center?! 🚐📚

We’re SO excited to announce that our students can now check out books from the public library! 🎉📖

The Bookmobile will be stopping by the Learning Center every other week, bringing plenty of books for our students to browse, discover, and take home!

This is another great example of how Greensburg Virtual School is a school our students can actually step into. While learning may happen virtually, our students have opportunities to come together, build relationships, participate in activities, access resources, and feel like they are truly part of a school community. 💙

We love creating opportunities that make our virtual school feel a little less virtual! 🏴‍☠️📚

We’re not just a school behind a screen.

At GJSVS, students have the flexibility of online learning without having to do it alone. Our students have access to a physical Learning Center where they can work, connect with staff, get technology help, receive lunch, talk about schedules and their future, check out a library book, and get the support they need. They can also take a class in person at GCHS or GJHS, attend school events, join clubs, participate in athletics*, and walk in graduation commencement.

It’s virtual learning — with a real place, real people, and real support. It’s a virtual school you can walk into 💙🤍🏴‍☠️

One of our favorite things about our virtual school is seeing students choose to come into our Learning Center to work, even though their classes are virtual. 💙

We love watching them make new friends, help one another, and work together. These friendships and connections are such a special part of our school community, and we love seeing our students look out for and encourage each other! 💻🤝😊

Virtual learning may look a little different, but the relationships our students build are just as meaningful. 💙🏴‍☠️

Today, we got to witness one of our favorite things—a seventh grader helping another seventh grader learn the ropes of virtual school.

One of the best parts of having students come into our Learning Center is watching them encourage and support one another. It's a reminder that even in a virtual school, meaningful friendships and a strong sense of community can thrive.

We are so grateful for this incredible group of students who are always willing to lend a helping hand—to us and to each other. They make us proud every single day! 💙
