Congratulations to Mr. David Emanuelson on receiving the Outstanding Young Conductor Award! 🎵

Nominated by Marvin Huls, retired Director of Choral Activities at Seton Hill University, this recognition reflects Mr. Emanuelson’s outstanding work rebuilding the high school choral program. This is a well-deserved honor for a dedicated teacher and conductor. Congratulations on this incredible achievement!

Summer Band Enrichment Camp Day 5: section spirit day 🎉

What a great last full day of camp! Students prepared for their finale performance tomorrow morning while showing off their section pride. Come hear us tomorrow morning at 10:30 AM in Wendover’s auditorium! 🎺🥁🎷🎼🪊

Summer Band Enrichment Camp Day 4: Spartan spirit day! 💙🤍 We loved seeing so much Hempfield gear at camp today.

All of the hard work and focus is paying off; we made lots of progress on tricky spots in our repertoire!

Summer Band Enrichment Camp Day 3: stuffed animal day! Students were able to bring a stuffie buddy along to experience a full day of camp.

Today, we continued to polish the five pieces we will perform at the the finale concert on Saturday, July 11th at 10:30 AM in Wendover’s auditorium. We hope to see you there! 🎵

We had a wonderful time diving deeper into our repertoire and settling into our rehearsal routines.

Lots of learning and fun at the first day of Summer Band Enrichment Camp! Students worked on musicianship and aural skills in music theory classes, and got aquainted with their sections during masterclass times. 🎺🥁🪊
