And just like that, 12 years of lessons has came to an end. 😞
Ruby was my longest standing student. Beginning on violin at just 6 years old, now 18 she has taken lessons for just about every instrument I could offer from violin, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, and drums. She has participated in too many concerts and events over the years to recall.
Ruby will be going to UINDY in the Fall for a degree in Musical Therapy. We would like to wish her the very best in her future endeavors and couldn’t be happier that she has chosen a career in music. 🎶 We would also like to thank Ruby’s parents Jeff & Angel for all the years of support. ❤️

The Decatur County, IN 4-H Fair kicks off today! 🎡
Our Feldman Music Studio Fair Jam is tomorrow at 7 PM! We have 20 performers ready to take the stage in the Farm & Home building!

Here is a look back at our Fair Jam from 2018. The 4 boys along the bottom of the first photo are the same 4 young men in the second photo. They are two sets of brothers who just played music at an event with each other for the first time since! One set is still sporting a ball cap and cowboy hat and the other still sporting their blonde hair. 🤠 👱
It is so great to see when the impact of being in lessons and performing stays with students years later. That is the goal. To create lifelong musicians so that they never have any money of their own. 😂
