We wanted to do something special to close our Feldman Music Studio Christmas Program 2025 and acknowledge a family that we have had the pleasure of knowing and working with for a span of 15 years!
Beginning with the oldest Lecher sibling, Russell who took guitar lessons for several years tackling songs like “Sweet Child o’ Mine” which he performed at the Tree City Fall Festival. Next oldest Nolan, who started out on banjo and also took lessons on guitar and bass and performed along with the next oldest sibling, Winston. Winston mainly stuck to the fiddle and performed and placed in the Old Time Fiddle Contest at the annual Greensburg Power of the Past a few times. Down to the oldest daughter, Sophie who is now an exceptional percussionist in her school’s band but started out on mandolin and later switched to and performed a few times on keys. As well as the youngest sibling Hazel who performed “We Wish You A Merry Christmas” on ukulele and was joined after by some of the other performers from Feldman Music Studio.
They all chose their own unique instruments and all excelled in their own ways. It has certainly been a pleasure getting to know and teaching all 5 kids going back to the very beginning of my teaching career. Thank you for sticking with me all of these years!
