🏆 What a Week of Competition! 🏆

Students have been working hard all week to earn points for thier houses and the leaderboard kept changing every single day! The excitement and friendly competition kept everyone on their toes as teams worked to climb to the top. 🎉

There were a lot of points awarded for helping peers, being responsible, showing kindness, and having perfect attendance for the week. đź’™

We are so proud of all the students who went above and beyond—not just to earn points, but to make a positive difference for those around them.

Congratulations to all four teams on an amazing week! 👏 The competition was exciting, the teamwork was incredible, and we can’t wait to see what next week brings! 🏆✨

What a wonderful first week back! We had 2 new students start and were sorted into Isibindi (pictured to come soon)! They are such fun and perfect for the house of courage!!

We had 2 houses who had perfect attendance this week! Both Reveur and Isibindi had perfect attendance! What a wonderful start! Spirit Friday was a good start as well, this young man is a great show of Courage for sure! He came in and found lots of great green to show off his Isibindi pride!! More pictures of kids will be coming! Keep your eyes posted!

Our paper chains from Cornerstone Ministries made it up the whole week and their cleaning, hanging posters and all the love that they gave us pre start of the year was very appreciated this start of the year!

The scores after the first week are a tie of Reveur and Isibindi but both Altruismo and Amistad are close behind and can catch up any day!

So proud of all of the students and staff today! It was a wonderful first day back! Everyone worked hard and did a great job getting back into the swing of things! And the assembly was great! I am proud of everyone who participated in our call and response house chants, helped sort our newest student, and then participated in our whole school activity! WAY TO GO!!! What a wonderful first week of staff pre-service! It has been so exciting to welcome everyone back, reconnect, and prepare for the new school year. We have an exciting year ahead of us!

Yesterday, our staff traveled to Pittsburgh for an amazing and inspiring kickoff to the school year. Our teachers and staff had the opportunity to connect with staff from across all Pressley Ridge education service lines while participating in fun activities, including creating house hats, decorating house cookies, and learning our house chants! A special thank-you to Charley Family Shop 'N Save for the delicious cookies. They were a huge hit and so much fun for everyone to decorate! We also had a chance to hear

We had the opportunity to hear from Dr. Junior Bernadin, who delivered an exciting pep talk to inspire and energize us for our house system. He rallied us to take our schools to the next level and make this year’s experience even more engaging, spirited, and fun!

This week has been a week of planning, trainings, prepping and yesterday with the day we had filled with energy, laughter, and excitement as we kicked off the new school year together. What a fantastic way to start fresh and celebrate all that is ahead!
