Remembering April 15, 2018 . . .

Tornado-hit schools in Greensboro hold remembrances on one-year anniversary GREENSBORO — For the past 365 days, Peeler, Erwin and Hampton elementary schools have had an unexpected shared identity and journey.

Monday April 15th we will celebrate Peeler Day! This will be a special time for Peeler and Bluford to commemorate the one year anniversary of the tornado that devastated our school. Everyone is encouraged to wear purple. There will be an assembly for our younger students at 9AM and another assembly for our 4th and 5th graders at 1PM. Later in the afternoon Peeler 4/5's will plant a tree to show appreciation for all Bluford has done to welcome us to their school. Please feel free to attend.
