Arch Turner Allen Middle School
Allen Middle School, home of the mighty Vikings, serves a great community and has a goal of providing a superior education for ALL students!
Allen Middle School is centrally located in southern Guilford County and opened in 1968 as Allen Junior High School. The school was named for Arch Turner Allen, a distinguished North Carolina scholar and state superintendent for public instruction from 1923 to 1943. Under the leadership of Dr. Shelia Gorham, Allen serves approximately 700 students in grades six through eight. Our primary feeder schools are Alderman, Archer, Frazier, Murphy and Vandalia.
