As we wrap up our VERY FIRST YEAR, we want to put an artist name with a face. Margot was announced as our yearbook cover design winner in February. Today, everyone got to hold the books in their hands! Margot is a talented 4th grader who puts her excellence into all she does. Now, she’s officially got the distinction of designing and drawing our very first cover. We are so proud of you, Margot!

Dragon families!! Thank you SO much for purchasing the Musical Theater Club shirts!! We wanted to share this with you today on stage, but life happens. So as promised…the numbers!

After the order, families donated $550 to next year’s Musical Theater Club!!! 🎉🎉🎉

| Summer meals will return to GCS starting on June 15!☀️🥪

Families have two options:

🍎Pick up seven days worth of breakfasts and lunch once a week at one of four meals-to-go sites; or
🍎Dine in for breakfast and lunch daily at any of our 13 summer meal distribution sites.

Families must register for the meals-to-go option and can not visit a meals-to-go and dine-in site during the same week.

Thanks to our Board of Education representative, Bettye Jenkins, for spearheading a fundraiser to help highlight students with perfect attendance. We put the names in a drawing for each grade level… and the winners are:

Shout out to our May High Flight Dragons! They’ve had perfect attendance and Fanta behavior for May. Today, they got to create etched light up bookmarks and flashlights with ShiftEd as a special treat.
