Wishing all our Weekday School moms the very best weekend. Our Infant class moms started with these special silhouettes, created by their teacher, Mrs. Stephanie.

To celebrate Earth Day, our PreK5 class learned about bee houses. Mr. Justin (FBC Weekday Parent) showed us the bee house his family placed in the First Baptist Church Greensboro Community Garden. We learned about pollinators and how they keep our Earth growing and green. Thanks, Mr. Justin!

We will make our way back to Work Together Wednesday, but we want to tell you about our annual Art Show today! Each year, for Artsy Thursday, we host a child-led art show. Our focus this year was printmaking and our show was titled “Leaving Our Prints”.

Allow us a moment to catch up with Week of the Young Child. For Tasty Tuesday, we learned more about the economy of a food truck with special guest Mr. Nick from Bandito Bodega. Mr. Nick is one of our long-time Weekday School parents and we were so thankful he shared yummy quesadillas with us to celebrate Week of the Young Child.

As shared this week with our Preschool Families, after years of exemplary leadership, Autumn Culbreth is stepping down from her position as the Director of our First Baptist Greensboro Preschool this summer. We celebrate the many hallmarks of Autumn’s leadership, and we are especially grateful that she remains a leader in the First Baptist Congregation and a friend to the FBC Preschool, continuing to share her many gifts with us all.

As we seek continued excellence in the leadership of our Preschool, we want to share plans for transition and introduce the next Director of the FBC Preschool: Christina McCord.
