Dean Michael "Mike" Crumpton has officially retired from the UNCG University Libraries as of June 1. This picture of Mike and acclaimed author Percival Everett was taken at a Libraries event co-hosted by Greensboro Bound in May of 2025. Mike will be missed and we at the libraries are grateful for his dedicated service and leadership.

Congratulations to Cochise M., winner of this year's Outstanding Library Student Worker Award! Cochise works for the Access Services Department in Jackson Library. He is a senior majoring in Arts Administration. The award is given to one student each year to recognize their accomplishments and contributions to the University Libraries. Great job, Cochise!
