Piedmont Heart Emergency Services was founded in 2009 by a intuitive group of state certified paramedics who specialize in a variety of emergency medical educational courses.
Our Director, James Nicholson has served his community since 2005 when he became a volunteer with his local fire department. James’ passion to help others soared after he became a volunteer so he decided to change careers from retail management to Emergency Medical Services. In 2009 James became a state certified Emergency Medical Technician he then continued his education and became a state certified Paramedic in 2013. Since then he has obtained his Associates Degree in Emergency Medical Services and is currently working towards his BS in Emergency Management. James’ ultimate goal is to take our company to the next level so he encourages you all stay tuned and continue to keep him and our company in your prayers as we strive to provide the best service to our community!
Our Instructors, much like our Director share a deep compassion for helping others. All of our instructors are state certified paramedics who have had the opportunity to gain a vast amount of knowledge through the years by serving their communities in the Emergency Medical Services field. They bring that knowledge and experience with them to the classroom which enables our clients to gain the most out of every class that our instructors have the opportunity to teach. Our instructors undergo monthly training so that they provide our clients with the most current information possible.
Our clients receive the most up-to-date material from our instructors. We simply care about our clients because we sincerely care about the lives that our clients may have the opportunity to save one day. Our client base ranges from middle school students to healthcare providers and everything in between. We train EVERYONE!
PHES now offers the following American Heart Association initial and recertification courses; Basic Life Support CPR & AED for Healthcare Providers, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Stroke Life Support, Advanced Pediatric Life Support, Advanced Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization, AHA Friends and Family CPR and First Aid, AHA Hands Only CPR.
We also offer an in-depth First Aid course that has been developed by our director and team of instructor, a Stop the Bleed course, and Medical Standby services for your special events all at an affordable cost.
