πŸ’™πŸ’› From the classroom to the fashion industry's biggest stages.

N.C. A&T Fashion Merchandising and Design students were selected as scholars for Harlem's Fashion Row's AEO Fashion Forum cohort, a professional development program that provides emerging talent with meaningful exposure to the fashion industry.

In addition, student volunteers traveled to New York City to support event operations and serve as event hosts during Tuesday's forum. The experience gave them a firsthand look at the collaboration, professionalism, hospitality and behind-the-scenes coordination required to bring a large-scale fashion event to life.

From networking with industry professionals to helping execute a premier fashion event, these Aggies gained valuable insights while representing N.C. A&T with excellence. βœ¨πŸ‘—πŸ§΅

πŸ’‘Innovation rooted in agriculture is helping shape the future of wound care.🌱

Researchers at N.C. A&T's Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering have filed a provisional patent for Woundra, a nanoengineered wound dressing made from agricultural byproducts that could help reduce infection, support healing and improve wound care, especially in rural communities. πŸ’™πŸ’›

The team, led by doctoral student Hoda Motaghed, has also secured funding and industry partnerships to help move the technology toward commercialization. The research demonstrates how agricultural materials can be transformed into innovative healthcare solutions.
