PTO nominations are coming up soon, and we are excited to welcome some new faces to our team! This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved, meet other amazing parents, and make a meaningful impact on our school community.

Our PTO helps support our teachers and staff, plans fun events for students and families, and raises funds for programs and resources that benefit every child at Alamance. Whether you have a few hours a month or more time to give, your ideas, talents, and enthusiasm are needed and appreciated.

Calling all Alamance families! Help our Wolves grow as strong readers by participating in our upcoming Book Swap!

On Tuesday, June 4, we are hosting an exciting school-wide Book Swap! We are asking all parents to please sort through their home bookshelves and clean out gently used, age-appropriate books your children have outgrown or are ready to pass on. By donating these books, you can help us reach our important goal of ensuring that every single student goes home with at least one or two new-to-them books!

Donated books can be dropped off at the school now through 5/31. Let’s work together to inspire a love of reading in all our young scholars.

💙 K–5 Field Day: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
🩵 Pre-K & Henley’s Class: 12:00 PM–1:00 PM
🧺 Picnic Lunch Begins at 12:00 PM

⏰ Volunteers should meet at the front of the school at 8:30 AM for station assignments and instructions.

Even if you can only volunteer for part of the day, your help makes a huge difference! 🙌💙

Get ready to splash, play, and have a blast at Alamance Elementary’s Field Day on Friday, May 22nd:

💙 K–5 Field Day: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
🩵 Pre-K & Henley’s Class: 12:00 PM–1:00 PM
🧺 Picnic Lunch Begins at 12:00 PM

Be relay ready! Students should wear comfortable clothes and sneakers that can get wet and dirty. Don’t forget to pack a change of clothes, towel, water bottle, sunscreen, and a bag lunch.

💙 K–5 students may be signed out with their classroom teacher at the conclusion of Field Day at 12:00 PM.

💙 A huge THANK YOU to King’s BBQ and Burgers for generously sponsoring lunch for our AMAZING teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week! The food was absolutely delicious, and our teachers and staff were so thankful for your kindness and generosity.

We are incredibly grateful for community partners like King’s BBQ and Burgers who help us celebrate and support the people who pour so much into our students every single day. Your generosity made our staff feel appreciated, valued, and loved this week. Thank you for investing in our school community and helping make Teacher Appreciation Week so special! 💙🐺

We do, however, desperately need more volunteers for Duty Free Lunch this Friday, May 8th so our teachers can fully enjoy their lunch break. Maybe your schedule opened up, you have a late work day, or you can spare even just ONE hour. We need you!
