It’s time to introduce our PTO Board candidates! 🎉

Per our PTO bylaws, only current PTO members are eligible to vote. To be considered a current member, your 2025–2026 PTO membership form and dues must have been submitted last school year.

As some of you may know, this is an election year for all positions of the Greensboro Elementary PTO. Below are the duties assigned to each PTO board member.

When you think of the PTO, you might picture the membership forms that come home each fall or our recent Mario Kart Fun Run!

But there's so much more to the PTO than that! 🤔

During the 2025–2026 school year, we were proud to continue many favorite traditions while also introducing some exciting new events and opportunities for our school community.

We can't wait to share everything we have planned for the year ahead—stay tuned! 💚

Now that the end-of-the-school-year dust has settled, it’s time to start thinking about PTO elections!

As of July 1, a new school term begins, which means it’s time to open nominations for our PTO Board.

According to our PTO bylaws, the following board positions are available:
⭐ President
⭐ Vice President
⭐ Treasurer
⭐ Secretary

Board positions are held for two-year terms before they are up for election again. Current board members are welcome to:
• Run for reelection to their current position (reelections are for one-year terms), or
• Run for a different board position.

If you’re interested in serving on the Greensboro PTO Board, please email [email protected] with the position you’d like to run for.

📅 Intent-to-run emails will be accepted through July 15. Once the deadline has passed, we’ll schedule an election meeting at a date and time that works for all candidates.

We encourage anyone who wants to make a positive impact on our school community to consider running. We look forward to hearing from you! 🐝💚

A huge THANK YOU to Kona Ice of Queen Anne's County for their incredible generosity! 🎉🍧

Thanks to their donation of 900 FIFA books, every student was able to take one home to enjoy on the last week of school. We are so grateful for community partners like Kona Ice who help make special opportunities like this possible for our kids.
